Resizing Your Monitor
In order to play Sanctum, your monitor must be set to the following conditions...
- Your monitor should be set in thousands of colors (16 bit or better, although the game will work in 256 colors).
- Your display must be set for 800 x 600 resolution (or higher).
Here's how to change your colors:
- Go to START...Settings...Control Panel.
- Choose Display.
- Choose the Settings tab.
- Change the Color Palette to High Colors (16 bit).
- If you do not have an option above 256 colors, you will need to choose another display adapter. Go to the web site of your monitor manufacturer and download a new adapter, or use Windows' standard Super VGA adapter. You can contact Digital Addiction's support team for more information.
Here's how to change your display resolution:
- Go to START...Settings...Control Panel.
- Choose Display.
- Hit the settings tab. Change display to 800x600.
- Hit Apply, then hit OK.
- Close Control Panel.
- Don't panic! Everything on your screen will look funny, and icons will be in the wrong place. If you like this, great. If not, don't move anything. Just connect to your ISP and launch Sanctum and play it. When you're done with your game, you can change the settings back.
- When you're done with your game, do the reverse, changing your display settings back. After you do this, your icons and views will return to the way you're accustomed to.
Contact Digital Addiction's support team if you have questions.
